How it works

Choose a Property

Each contest is tied to a specific UK property, with a maximum number of paid entries available and a clearly stated closing date.

Enter by Paid Entry or Free Postal Route

Registered users may enter by purchasing entries for the property, or by requesting a free entry form by email and returning it by post for a chance to win. If a user submits a paid entry for a property, they are not permitted to submit a free entry for that same property.

Winner Selection and Verification

The winner is selected in accordance with the published rules for that property. Eligibility and identity checks are required before completion.

Solicitor-Led Completion

Completion is handled via solicitors, with ownership transferred in the usual way, subject to the contest rules and verification.

Eligibility

Entry is limited to British citizens and/or UK residents with permanent settled status. Proof is required for winners.

Entry Options

Paid Entries

Registered users can purchase entries for properties offered in the contest. A maximum of three paid entries per person, per property, applies. If a user submits a paid entry for a property, they are not permitted to submit a free entry for that same property.

Free Postal Route

Registered users can request a free entry form by email. The completed form must be posted back in accordance with the property rules. Only one free entry per person, per property, applies.

Property listings will appear here as they go live, including survey information, entry caps, closing dates, and the complete rules for that property.

Rules of Contest

Important. The full and binding rules are published per property contest. This page provides a plain-English summary only.

Entry is limited to British citizens and/or UK residents with permanent settled status. Proof is required for winners, including identification and evidence of eligibility. Anyone connected with the running of the contest, including staff, agents, professional advisers, and their households, is excluded as set out in the property-specific rules.

A maximum of three paid entries per person, per property, applies. The free entry route is available by requesting the form by email and returning the completed form by post, with a maximum of one free entry per person, per property. Late, incomplete, or non-compliant entries may be rejected in accordance with the property rules. If a user submits a paid entry for a property, they are not permitted to submit a free entry for that same property.

Each Property Contest States: Opening and Closing Dates, Maximum Entry Volumes, how the winner is selected, verification steps, completion timelines, and what happens if a winner fails verification or cannot complete. The promoter may cancel or suspend a contest where required by law or where a material issue arises, in accordance with the published rules.
